Knowing where first aid is before you need it is one of the most useful things you can do when planning a park day — especially with kids or anyone managing a medical condition. Here is where to find first aid at EPCOT, what services are available, where AEDs are located, and what nearby urgent care looks like if you need more than the park can provide.

What to do in a medical emergency
- Call 911 first for life-threatening emergencies. Park first aid is not a substitute for emergency services. If someone is unconscious, not breathing, or having a heart attack, call 911 immediately — don't go looking for first aid yourself.
- Tell the nearest cast member or team member. Park staff are trained to radio for help and direct emergency services. Flagging someone down is faster than searching for first aid on your own when every second counts.
- Use an AED. AEDs are located throughout the park. They give voice instructions and are designed for untrained users. In a cardiac event, early defibrillation is the single biggest factor in survival.
- For non-emergencies, walk to first aid. For heat exhaustion, minor injuries, medication needs, motion sickness, or a child who needs a quiet break, the first aid center handles these all day long and is much calmer than the midway.
What first aid can help with
- Heat exhaustion and heat stroke symptoms — cool IV fluids, air conditioning, rest
- Minor cuts, blisters, and scrapes — bandaging and wound care
- Over-the-counter medications (antacids, pain relievers, antihistamines, motion-sickness aids, sunscreen, insect repellent) — usually available for a small charge or free
- Medication storage — refrigeration for insulin and temperature-sensitive medications
- Nursing and pumping — typically available in a private room; ask first aid staff
- Contacting emergency services and arranging transport to urgent care or hospital
Plan ahead for your group
- If anyone in your group takes insulin, prescription medication, or uses an EpiPen, identify the first-aid center on the park map before you go in. Locate it when you enter, before you need it.
- If you have a child with a medical condition, let a team member at Guest Services know when you arrive — they can flag accommodations and make sure you know exactly where first aid is.
- Stay hydrated. Free water is available at most quick-service food locations; you do not need to buy a bottle.
