IBCCES Accessibility Card + Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP): how it works

IBCCES Accessibility Card + Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP) is Universal's system for guests who cannot wait in a standard queue. It has two components that work together: the IBCCES Accessibility Card (IAC), which you register for online in advance, and the Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP), which Guest Relations issues at the park on the day of your visit after reviewing your IAC.

Universal requires pre-registration via IBCCES and supporting documentation for most conditions. The AAP gives return-time access to attractions — similar to DAS, you receive a window roughly equal to the current standby wait rather than immediate access. Official program page →

• Register with IBCCES at accessibilitycard.org at least 48 hours before your visit. You will need to upload supporting documentation from a licensed professional.
• On arrival, take your IBCCES card to Guest Services to receive your Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP).
• The AAP covers the guest and up to three companions in the same party.
• Return times are issued at each attraction's accessibility entrance or via the Universal app.

• Tell ride hosts what you need. Beyond the return-time program, individual accommodations — a stationary boarding moment, extra time to buckle, which row fits a wheelchair — come from asking the host at the ride. They handle this every day.
